CHALLENGE  Quick 1 day design proposal for children’s cookingset and packaging under the private label KRUIDVAT

PROCESS

  • Competitors were analyzed;
  • Main features of Kruidvat positioning on the market were defined;
  • Kruidvat private lable features were defined;
  • Product strategy was created based on the research;

PRODUCT STRATEGY

The new product will be designed in line with the current products of Kruidvat, because if  something completely different is created, it will not be recognized by the audience as part of the Kruidvat family of products. According to branding strategists this usually causes negative effects on the brand in general. Taking this into account the right balance should be found. Type of product to create: basic, clean design, for mass market, modern.

  • Create a product line KAT KRUIDVAT, using style that can be easily implimented to other products – such as tea set for children, etc.;
  • Create personal mascot for this product line, which will be used on the product and will unite the products;
  • Create fresh and modern design look, which will stand out on the shelf;
  • Use defined features to be in line with Kruidvat style;
